Between going to work, raising a family, studying at school, or a mix of all of the above, it can be difficult to meet with all the demands on our time. The constant stress adds wear and tear on our body, dragging us down and resulting in unwanted weight gain despite the ridiculous number of calories we burn while running around from place to place. Suppress-C, however, claims that their fat burning formula can counter the effects of stress by suppressing a hormone called Cortisol.
Supposedly, Suppress-C offers everything you need to help your body stop gaining weight and start burning fat by keeping Cortisol levels in check, which may be the true cause for your slow metabolism and lack of energy. Additionally, Suppress-C may be able to give you an added boost in energy and motivation, so you can finally make it through your hectic schedule without collapsing from exhaustion at the end.
However, we can’t help but be skeptical of Suppress-C’s claims for weight loss. Although we understand their theory, we have our doubts about whether or not this simple spray can really produce the weight loss results we’re looking for.
B-Androstenetriol and Cortisol
During times of stress, your body begins to secret hormones that help the body cope with the high physical demands, and one of these hormones is Cortisol. Cortisol signals to the body that carbohydrates should be broken down and stored as fat so the body has ample fuel to burn throughout the day. Additionally, Cortisol also signals to the body that muscle proteins should be broken down into amino acids to be used for quick bursts in energy, resulting in a loss of lean muscle mass.
However, B-Androstenetriol may be able to counter these effects by suppressing the secretion of Cortisol, so you can start burning fat now instead of storing it for later.
B-Androstenetriol: This natural immunity booster is considered to be 100 Times more powerful than DHEA. Although limited clinical research is available on this ingredient, B-Androstenetriol may be able to suppress cortisol.
Isopropyl Alcohol: Commonly used as a disinfectant, Isopropyl Alcohol can dissolve a wide range of compounds.
Benzyl Alcohol: Similar to Isopropyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol is often used as a solvent and preservative.
Octyl Salicylate: This fatty alcohol acts as an emollient (moisturizer).
Carbomer: Carboner is made from acrylic acid and is generally found in cosmetics due to its ability to absorb and retain water.
B-Androstenetriol has been used for years as a cortisol suppressant, and a wide variety of products contain this suppressor even though there is no clinical research validating its effectiveness as a product for weight loss.
Although Suppress-C may be able to help consumers fight fat and fatigue, we cannot whole-heartedly recommend Suppress-C until the research catches up with the product. For its high retail price of nearly $60 and no guarantee that this product will work for everyone, Suppress-C is a risky investment if you’re simply looking to shed a few extra pounds. As nice as it would be to have enough energy to make it through each morning, Suppress-C is not the best solution on the market.
